On the morning of May 30th, Dr. Liangwu Yin and I will board a United Airlines flight to Chicago with 6 Mount Union College students. In Chicago, we will transfer to UA 0851 for a 13 hour 34 minute, 6,579 mile flight to Beijing, the capital city of the Peoples Republic of China. There, we will be joined by nine additional Mount Union students who will fly in from Vietnam, Japan, and southern China. For one month we will study Mandarin and Chinese history and culture at Peking University. Then, we will travel for one week to the cities of Luoyang and Xian and return to the United States on July 6th. This blog is our story.
